ETOC principles
ETOC was established with the aim of promoting the secure telecommunications market.
ETOC certification is governed by the following policies:
Being fair
ETOC's operator certification evaluation is fair to all telecommunications operators. There is no discrimination based on the presence or absence of affiliation, the location of the company (foreign or not), or the type of service provided by the operator.
Being fair
ETOC certification audits are conducted by multiple experts and specialists, and the audit process is defined to ensure fairness in the evaluation of operators.
Being user-oriented
The standards are set by experts, telecommunications market specialists, consumer issue experts and others, who consider "what standards society demands," while being careful not to hinder service innovation, technological innovation, or competition between businesses.
